For WMUs 40 & 41 we are unable to host moose hunters during the rifle season as our camp closes for the winter Thanksgiving weekend. However, we can welcome bow hunters during the bows only period.

Marten River Lodge sits on the boarder of zones 40 and 41 and as the lodge is not eligible for the moose hunting tags handed out by the Ministry of Natural Resources hunters must apply on their own and may apply for either district.
The lodge is surrounded by Crown land with miles of old logging roads and acres of marshes to hunt in. Our moose population is on the increase and it’s not unusual to see moose while you’re fishing.
Moose Hunters who wish to hunt Adult Moose during the Bow Season can choose to enjoy our premier lodge facilities and our All-Inclusive Housekeeping or American Plan accommodations with the convenience of easy access to WMUs 40 and 41 right from our driveway. Our cabins are completely equipped with linens, towels, soaps, dishes, pots, pans, utensils, microwave, stove, refrigerator, 3 or 4 piece bathrooms, potable hot & cold running water and propane heat - every convenience for a comfortable hunt. A boat, motor, unlimited bait and fuel are also included so you can also enjoy fishing our expansive 24 kilometer main water system.
Subject to availability, we can arrange professional guiding services for a complete hunting experience.
