At MRL we also pride ourselves in offering exceptional wilderness dining experiences for our guests. We have a fully equipped and certified commercial kitchen where our Master Chef prepares his daily temptations with fresh ingredients. Groups can enjoy breakfast and dinner as per our Chef’s daily selection, or for larger groups, we can tailor a special menu. Lunch is most often packed to go however; we are also able to customize a lunch service if desired. Our dining room can comfortably seat up to 30 guests. For larger groups, additional food service is provided in the main lodge.
Fishing of course, is the most obvious central activity at MRL and we offer both self-guided and fully guided angling opportunities. With our full fleet of fully-equipped, state-of-the-art main lake boats guests have access to 24 kilometers (15 miles) of the Marten River water system and many species of fish including bass, walleye (pickerel), pike, perch and lake trout. Our guided fishing excursions offer a variety of remote lake adventures accessible by truck, UTV and float plane and can enhance your group’s overall experience. We can customize a remote lake adventure package to create the experience you most desire.
