All rates are quoted in Canadian Funds and do not include gratuities and applicable taxes. Rates are subject to change without notice.


We require a deposit of 20% of the booking value. We accept cash, Interact e-transfer, MasterCard, Visa and Amex. Note – American Express additional fee of 1.65%.

Cancellation Policy:

Deposits are refundable 60 days prior to reservation date less a $60 cancellation fee. Deposits can be transferred to a booking the following year.
Note: Changes to any reservation’s number of people reserved, packages booked, guide services, boat rentals, requires a MINIMUM OF 30 DAYS NOTICE or reservation holder will be billed for the total original amount on arrival.

Balance of Payment:

Balance of payment is due upon check in. Any additional charges must be paid before check out.

Boat Orientation:

All guests that have a boat as part of their package are required to do a 30 minute boat orientation where we review the safety equipment, boat operation and go over a Map of the River System. A typical orientation takes between 20 and 30 minutes.

Cleaning/Damage Fees:

A $300. cleaning fee will be charged to credit card for each cabin that is left with excessive mess. Unreported damage to cabins or boats will be charged a 30% surcharge on top of the repair or replacement cost.


Smoking is permitted ONLY in the screen porches. A $300. fee will be charged to credit card for guests found to have been smoking in cabins.
All breakage or damage of cottages, cottage contents, boats, outboard motors & other equipment is the sole responsibility of the reservation holder. All repairs will be billed at cost to the credit card on file.

Undesirable Conduct:

Owners / Management reserve the right to terminate any guest’s stay, due to undesirable behavior or conduct, without a refund.


All guests are required to maintain reasonable quietness after 11 pm.


All children must be supervised by an adult at all times.

Marten River Lodge Owners, Management and Staff are not responsible for any misfortunes or accidents on the premises or off premise activities.
