Our dining room can seat 30 people comfortably and if your group is larger, we can also provide food service in our main lodge, fully equipped with a self-serve bar. Our Master Chef is fully accustomed to tailoring menus for large groups and can help you plan your meals to meet any dietary needs and budget.
Our 9 beautiful and spotlessly clean cabins range from 1 to 4 bedrooms. Combined we have 25 individual bedrooms with a total of 46 individual beds in single and double configurations. If some couples share double beds, our capacity increases to 53. Each cabin is fully equipped with complete kitchen amenities, 3 or 4-piece bathrooms, screen porch, BBQ, 24-hour propane heat, potable water and hydro. Plus there is plenty of parking for you and your guests.
Though Marten River Lodge offers a truly remote wilderness setting, our proximity to major centres including North Bay, Sturgeon Falls and Sudbury offer convenient access to other important services and amenities from within 30 to less than 90 minutes. All three of these centres offer hotel/motel accommodations if your guest list exceeds our capacity. North Bay and Sudbury both have international airports for out of town guests who may choose to fly from distant locations. We provide limousine service to and from these airports. Limo service from cities such as Toronto, Ottawa, Sudbury to our resort can also be arranged.

Our beautiful waterfront grounds and historic lodge setting can be the backdrop to the start of your most important adventure together. If an intimate, outdoor wedding is what you desire, we have almost 12 acres with a number of suitable spots to stage your ceremony under the pines and our big northern sky. Alternatively, and where weather may interfere, our historic main lodge can be configured to host both your ceremony and reception.
Other amenities and services that you can draw on for planning various aspects of your wedding are available within a reasonable commute and because we have established relationships with many service providers in the area. we can also arrange for delivery of certain supplies.
These may include wedding planners, bakeries (for your wedding cake), photography services, party supplies, printing, flowers, DJ and music services, audio/video equipment and much more. Just let us know what you need and we can find it!
Another bonus to hosting your wedding at MRL is that, subject to group size and availability, you can have the entire camp to yourself so that you and your wedding party can enjoy all of our facilities, amenities and dedicated staff unencumbered by other guests. You can’t get that kind of exclusivity at a hotel!
